The world of virtual learning continues to evolve and support student learning. In a previous blog from my virtual experience at NETA 2018 on virtual reality, I explored apps that interact with your surrounding and allow the user to augment their reality. At the Nebraska Google Summit, I was able to expand on my understanding with virtual cont by creating my own 360-degree photos that can be used to support student learning. Jessica Louck’s presentation is easy to follow using Google Street View App and your mobile device.
“Pictures are great. Panoramic photos are even better. But what if you could tell a story with 360° photos (also known as Photo Spheres)? In this session, you will not only learn how to take Photo Spheres with your mobile device, but you will start creating a Story Sphere of your 360° photos! Learn how to enhance your Story Sphere by embedding voice overs and hotspots. Walk away with a plethora of ideas for implementation and be prepared to inspire your students’ innovation!” Jessica Louck
